Responsibilities

• Assist Sr. Account Manager with the retention of existing accounts.
• Support team with management of databases, reports and project work.
• Collaborate with carriers to resolve account claims, eligibility and billing issues.
• Manage set-up of new benefit policies and amendment of existing policies.
• Create & maintain benefits website for accounts.
• Organize material and present at open enrollment benefit meetings.
• Assist with renewal marketing and census preparation.
• Prepare benefit cost analysis and exhibits.

 

Qualifications

• Effective oral and written communication skills and the ability to effectively present information to public groups. 
• Excellent interpersonal skills and computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Exceptional time management and organization skills. 
• Ability to plan and accomplish goals and provide prompt, efficient, high-quality service to clients.
• Ability to develop, analyze and interpret financial spreadsheets. 

 
Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years experience in benefits administration. 
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent career experience required. 
• Current Life & Health licensure or ability to obtain within 90 days required. 
• Occasional travel to various locations is required.  Must have valid transportation.
