John is division manager for the Atlanta office and works as the primary client executive for a select group of clients. He began his professional career at Hamilton Dorsey Alston Company, serving in various capacities including chairman and CEO. When the company merged with Wachovia Insurance Services (WIS), John served as managing director and chairman of WIS, Georgia. He joined Rutherfoord in 2008 and assumed his present duties. John earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from UNC Chapel Hill, where he was a Morehead Scholar. He has worked with a number of large, prominent clients in the construction, real estate, healthcare and non-profit arenas, and has received his AAI and CPCU designations.
