C. Michael Dower Joins Rutherfoord's International Team
Enhances DBA & Government Contracting Practices
Rutherfoord is pleased to announce that Mike Dower has joined Rutherfoord International as Senior Vice President responsible for organizing our firm’s new Defense Base Act (DBA) Center of Excellence. The Center of Excellence builds on Rutherfoord International’s superb existing DBA program and non-program facilities which were initially started in 1989.
Mike has spent over 28 years in the international insurance marketplace. Prior to Rutherfoord, Mike has held senior management positions at CNA, Fireman’s Fund, USF&G and CIGNA International/AFIA in various underwriting and administrative capacities, which included overseas postings to Dubai and Athens.
Mike received his Master of International Management degree from the American Graduate School of International Management (“Thunderbird”) in Glendale, Arizona. His bachelor’s degree was earned at the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ. Mike received his insurance brokerage license from the State of New York in December of 1983. He received his CPCU designation this past March, 2011 and is an active member on the 3IG Committee.
