Joseph C. Thomas, Jr. Joins Rutherfoord
An Addition to the Surety Bonding Team in Roanoke
Richmond, Va. (February 25, 2011) – Rutherfoord, one of the most highly regarded risk management and insurance brokerage firms in the country, announces a new hire in the Roanoke office.
Joseph C. Thomas, Jr. is a new surety specialist in the surety bonding department at Rutherfoord and will be responsible for bond account production and management. Prior to joining Rutherfoord, Joe was president of Thomas Brothers, LLC, from which he brings over 25 years of construction experience to Rutherfoord. He holds a bachelor of science degree in business management from Virginia Tech.
Thomas is past president of the Roanoke Regional Homebuilders Association, owner of Hanging Rock Golf Club, a member of the board of directors of the Salem YMCA, a former board member of the Council of Community Services in Roanoke and past president of the Roanoke Valley Chapter of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association.
