John C. Stanchina
President

John is responsible for sales and operations throughout Rutherfoord, and he will chair the President’s Council, along with providing oversight of the Richmond and Petersburg divisions. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Muskingum College and began his career with Fidelity & Deposit Company of Maryland. In 1994, John joined Rutherfoord to establish and manage Richmond’s surety bond operations. John was appointed division manager of Rutherfoord’s Richmond office in 2004, president of the Richmond division in 2009 and president of Rutherfoord in 2011. He is past-president of The Virginia Surety Association and has served on the board of directors for the Virginia Road and Transportation Builders Association, as well as on various surety and insurance company advisory boards. He is a member of various civic boards and the Young Presidents Organization.
